Privacy Policy

ZBR Technologies operates HomeFinance. This policy explains how we handle your financial and personal data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account — Sign in with Apple provides a unique identifier and optional name/email.
• Transaction data — Records, categories, and notes you enter or import, stored on-device via SwiftData and optionally synced via your private iCloud.
• Receipt images — Photos you take for scanning are temporarily sent to our GCP backend for AI processing, then immediately deleted. Images are not stored on our servers.
• Bank statement data — CSV files you import are parsed entirely on-device. Raw CSV data is never sent to our servers.
• Usage analytics — Anonymised crash reports and performance metrics.

2. AI Processing

Receipt images are sent to Google Gemini Flash via our GCP backend over TLS for data extraction. Source images are deleted immediately after processing. We do not use your financial data to train AI models.

3. Data Storage

All transaction data is stored on-device using SwiftData. If you enable iCloud sync, data is in your private iCloud account. We do not maintain a copy of your transaction history on our servers.

4. Financial Data Security

We do not connect to or access your bank accounts. All bank statement imports are done manually via CSV export from your bank. We implement encryption at rest and in transit for any data that passes through our backend.

5. Third-Party Services

6. Deletion

Delete your account and all server-side data from Settings at any time. On-device data is removed by deleting the App.
